DENTAL CLINIC

Providing Pain Relief and Emergency Dental Care

Following a comprehensive needs assessment of the healthcare context on Lesvos island – including refugees, asylum seekers, and local communities – CMA identified a significant gap in accessible and affordable dental care. The strain on the local health system, combined with limited dental services for many people, made this project a clear priority.

Our fully equipped dental clinic, located inside Mavrovouni refugee camp, provides free dental care from Monday to Friday. Services include emergency treatments to relieve pain and address acute issues, as well as dental hygiene sessions to promote prevention and long-term oral health.

The clinic is staffed by fully licensed international volunteer dentists, dental assistants, and dental students, and supported by our trained team of assistants and interpreters on the ground.
