gambia medical mission

CMA is grateful to the GamLeicester Trust Charity for inviting us to take part in a medical mission to The Gambia at the end of 2025.

Over the course of one week, a dedicated team of 45 healthcare professionals from various organizations came together to provide vital care and support to the local community.

The multidisciplinary team included doctors, dentists, opticians, pharmacists, and committed support staff. This broad range of expertise enabled the delivery of urgent and essential healthcare services across multiple specialties.

Throughout the mission, the team carried out 675 medical consultations, 659 dental treatments, and 1,998 eye examinations—bringing much-needed healthcare to thousands of individuals and making a meaningful impact on the lives of those served.
