Lecture: Effective Crisis Management in Humanitarian Field Work

Anne and Radwan, co-founders of CMA, have delivered a series of guest lectures for the Amsterdam School of International Business as part of the Effective Crisis Management course in May 2023, March 2024, and October 2024, both in Amsterdam and virtually. Drawing on their field experience in humanitarian settings—from refugee camps in Greece to crisis response in Ukraine—they connected theory with practice, offering students a grounded understanding of crisis management, humanitarian principles, and operational realities. Their sessions emphasized the human dimension of crises, equipping future professionals with practical tools, ethical insight, and a deeper awareness of how to respond effectively in complex and high-pressure environments.
