Do I need an international license to volunteer as a dentist, dental assistant, or pharmacist assistant with CMA in Greece?

No international license is required. However, all volunteers must be insured in their home country and must provide proof of insurance before arriving.

What facilities, equipment and medication will be available where I will be volunteering?

CMA has two isoboxes available. One isobox is allocated as the Central Pharmacy and one isobox is allocated as the Dental Clinic. Within the Dental Clinic, there are two rooms available.

Who will I be working with as a volunteer with CMA in Greece?

You will be working alongside our dedicated ground team and potentially other volunteers.

Do I need to bring any equipment with me to volunteer as a dentist?

Yes, dentists should bring:

  • Their own gloves in their size

  • A headlight (if they normally use one)

  • Their own scrubs

What are the working hours with CMA?

CMA operates from Monday to Friday, 9:00AM- 15:00PM. Outside of these hours you have the free time to explore the island of Lesvos.
